My Account is where each user of a Neviscater account changes their own sign-in details: name, mobile number and password. These belong to the login, not to the business, and are separate from the business details that print on reports, which live under Preferences → Business Details.
Open the My Account drawer
Click the user icon at the top right of any page and choose My Account, or click your name at the top of that menu. A drawer slides in from the right; you stay on the page you were on.
You can also type my account or change mobile into the search bar.
Change your name or mobile number
- Open My Account. The Details tab shows your name, mobile and email.
- Edit Name or Mobile. The mobile number must be digits only, 10 to 15 of them, the same rule as on sign-up.
- Click Save. The drawer confirms the change and the user menu updates at once.
The mobile number is the one we use to reach you and the one prefilled when you pay for a plan. Changing it here does not change the contact numbers printed on your reports; those are under Preferences → Business Details.
Every change is recorded in Administration → Activity Log as Account details updated, with the old and new values.
Change your password
- Open My Account and switch to the Password tab.
- Enter your Current password, then the new password twice. It must be at least 8 characters.
- Click Change password.
The current password is asked for so that someone who finds your screen unlocked cannot lock you out. If you have forgotten it, sign out and use the forgot-password link on the sign-in page instead.
A password change is recorded in the Activity Log as Password changed. The password itself is never stored in the log.
Change your email
Your email is your sign-in and the address verification was sent to, so it cannot be edited from the drawer. To change it, send the new address from Report an Issue and we will update it for you.
Sub-users
A sub-user edits their own name, mobile and password from the same My Account drawer. The account owner can also edit a sub-user's name, email and mobile from Role Based Access Control → Users; see Staff and Users.
